This is a rare find. A beautiful keepsake box covered in a vintage floral fabric. Padded lid & hinges at the back. Lined in a marbled green paper.

An original 1950s hexagonal hat box made from printed card. With a detached lid decorated with their signature floral & ribbons design. Slightly faded in some place but overall in great condition. The box still has the original green laces and is very clean inside.

Marshall & Snelgrove was a high end department store in Oxford Street, London which opened in 1851. It closed it’s doors in 1973. The company became part of the Debenhams group.
